This is a Filipino short film, "Sparrows" at the University of Michigan. Over a game of mahjong, Lina tries to receive her Ate's (older sister in Filipino) blessing to switch majors from pre-med to music. Her Ate uses mahjong references to express her worry that a career in the arts is a game of luck but Lina believes luck can be cultivated.
